EPTI am a very keen SC2 player even though I am not very good at it, I tend to watch a lot of games, and replaced my TV schedule of many years for good old GSL action.
You could probably refer to me as one of the older SC2 players as I am flying through my 30s at a tremendous pace.
I created this blog on TL to use as an outlet of frustration as I am trying to achieve the goal I set myself in the game.
First of all I played WoW for quite a while, I did enjoy it purely for the guild/social factor of it, however the game play became a bit too boring for me over the few years I was there. When SC2 launched I jumped into it like I did when I first got SC.
Initially my goals were just to chill out in the game, have fun in single player mode and transition to XvX games.
Initially I chose Terran purely because I was kind of used to it and most of my mates played Protoss and I didn't want to do XvX matches with all the same race. As time moved on I developed a real interest in Zerg and decided to make the switch, never really focused on 1v1 as I knew I would not be as efficient with Zerg as I was with Terran, purely because of the number of games I played.
I managed to get myself into Gold with Terran and set myself the goal to do the same if not better with Zerg.
And this is where we are now, I got a 2nd account to mess around with so my m8s cant interrupt me when 1v1 (harassing me for XvX games) and dedicated this account to Zerg. I got myself into gold today and am not working on setting myself new goals to achieve with actual target dates to slowly and steadily improve my overall game-play.
I will be posting these goals and would really appreciate any comments to help me come up with creative and realistic goals.
