If you're not, go anyway and have them check it, it doesn't cost much and maybe it turns out that it's something that is fairly cheap to fix. | ||

Don't eat anything with lots of flavors or could sting a cut. It won't hurt as much if you try to avoid these things. Rinse your mouth out with salt water. Salt water cleans things it seems o_o Hot salt water! Hot water in general might be nice. Don't eat anything sharp like chips or dry noodles or anything. It'll poke it and hurt. D: Soups might be nice to eat ~ Just be careful. Keep an ice pack on it or a hot pack. But definitely try to go to the dentist. =3 | ||

And i did work, i lost my job 3 months ago (they got rid of all part timers which i was), still searching :\ hard times to get a job over here even though, thinking of going back to studying and get a proper education (im a dropout). | ||

I think it's a good idea to post and be rude to someone who's just looking for advice or some alternatives to spending money on the dentist. Getting a credit card is not a solution to not having enough money for the dentist. | ||

I have really bad teeth and was once in a similar situation where my tooth was hyper-sensitive to absolutely everything. I almost had to get a root canal but they said it may just be a really sensitive tooth, not infected. Is your pain related to heat/cold or is it a constant, rhythmic throbbing? If the former, try some sensitivity toothpaste (worked for me). If the latter, definitely get it looked at whenever you have the money. If it's any consolation, I know someone who had to get 5 root canals on the same tooth So you know it won't be as bad as that xD | ||

There's a lot of temporary fixes for pain, but you should really go to the dentist. My toothaches have netted fillings, pullings, and in one case a root canal. Two weeks ago I went in for a tooth abscess and found out I need a lot more work. The great part is you can tell them to hold off on everything except what you need to make the pain go away. You won't know exactly what's wrong until you get an x-ray and you can't get that without going to the dentist. Do yourself a favor! Oh, and keep brushing and flossing! | ||
