You probably think I'm joking but I'm not. One time saw twenty bucks laying around and I was too afraid to pick it up because I thought it might be part of one of those creepy experiments. Also, if I see change or money on a sidewalk I am always to afraid to try to pick it up in case it is a coin superglued down or in case it is a bill attached to fishing wire that someone's going to pull.

And when I do pay cash I usually don't bother to check the change unless it's a big amount.

I also pirate even though I know it's wrong and kind of want to stop. Grar. you know, come to think of it, i think i might do the same. i definitely give money back in person, but over the internet or w.e, i think i may not.. not sure though as it hasn't happened to me. i do recall studies done on this though, where separation from the victim affects actions quite a bit. can't remember where though, lol

Seeing how as I always use my card to pay, however, it rarely happens. Who carries cash these days anyway? No use. Pretty much agree with you. I didn't think anyone carried cash either. But if you go abroad you should always carry cash, I went to Germany for CEBIT this year and to my surprise it was very rare that the supermarkets and restaurants there took Visa(some even thought I asked for pizza:D). Of course it could have been just the places we visited, but it felt so weird when back in Sweden every little shop takes Master Card and Visa.
