I've taken the tip of a finger off never went to a hospital, and god knows the other cuts I've done where cauterizing or just wrapping in gauze and covering with a glove have happened. She should have been sent home on that. Competing for 250k and you get two stitches? come on. I honestly do think jen deserved to stay based on what we saw. To quote bourdains blog "That said? I don't have a lot of sympathy for Jamie -- who deserted the front lines (all too happily, it seemed) in order to have TWO stitches put in. Just about any line cook I ever knew would have gone for the Vince Lombardi option of "spit on it and run a lap" -- at least until the end of the shift. Jen... self-destructing a little early. Suppose to defeat yourself after you rack up a few points. Does Jamie even care about the competition? The whole stitch incident aside, she doesn't look like she even wants to be there. Should have went Dale instead of Jamie meh. | ||

Jamie 1, -1, 0 Tre 0, -1, 2 Antonia 1, -1, 1 Richard 1, 2, 1 Angelo 2, 2, 1 Anti- Fabio 1, 0, 1 And an overall -1 means I have a total of 17. Regretting my choice of Lauren over Dale more and more. I think Spike has been the most surprising so far; at least point wise if not for his cooking. Btw, did you change your point system? You have this week's anti at +5 but your original post has it at +4. Bad math, looks like we're tied BC. | ||

Thought Spike would have played the game much better though. He got out weaseled. Spike and the rest of team should have just called out Jaime and there would be nothing she could do about it. | ||
