Hi TL, I made this blog to ask a question to you all. I get up at 5 am (in the morning) because I live in the Netherland (fucking cest), but it is kinda affecting my school and my work (as in I get pretty tired the rest of the day), however I do not wish to stop watching proleague in the morning, because even if Proleague was 3am or something I would still watch it with all my heart because LIVE proleague is the most awesome thing. EVER. The only problem is that my mother and sister be bitchin'. They say I'm cazy that I listen to something I don't understand (korean commentary) and they say they find it ridicoulous that I listen to, and I quote: 'those damn japaneses'. Fuck their opinion I love BW, and I will love it forever!

Soooooooooo, who has the same deal? Who else has to wake up early to taste the awesomeness that is BW and how do deal with it, does it have any influences on your daily life?

I'm pretty sure nearly everyone who started with following the SC BW scene first went through this stage. Nothing really wrong with it but if it's affecting your results at school or anything, just watch the important matches live (lik skt vs kt) and the less important ones from VODs.

I quit uni because I'd start class at 9 AM and I'd leave at 10:30 to make it in time for PL starting at 11.

Right now I managed to find a nighttime job which is perfect for watching streams all I want, but that's not the solution for everyone.

IMO it all depends on how you can manage your sleep schedule, if your parents/roommates/whatever eat at around 7 PM or earlier you can go to sleep right after dinner and wake up perfectly rested in time for the 5 am PL games. Take melatonin whenever you're changing your sleep times.

Just know when during the day you can afford to sleep and try and make your sleep/life schedule fit that, it sounds really goofy when you describe it to your friends but life is completely manageable.

Proleague starts at 6 am (13 kst) for me. Waking up when CJ SPARKYZ or good teams play each other. It dont bother me much coz proleague tends to begin on friday and end on tuesday where i have light schedule. and most university classes starts at 10 am.

Well getting early really sucks hard, but its great to begin day when your favorite team(player) wins.

Proleague is always like 12 or 3 AM for me (US, east coast). 12 is okay, but then I only get to watch 1-2 games before needing to sleep

gotta watch SKT tonight at 12am and KT the following morning at 5am!
i really miss watching SCBW during normal waking hours though -- this was back in the Philippines where KST is just ahead by 1 hour

edit: as zenmaster mentioned, this changes after DST starts -- 11pm is good but not 4am

PL is 9pm and 2:30am, I ALWAYS watch the 9PM games.

2:30 only if its Oz, KT or SKT hahaha. But yea, My life for Proleague!

I get it at 10 PM, which isnt a bad deal if it doesnt go to ace, but then again it is much more exciting when it goes to ace. I get the other one at 3:30, which is impossibe because its in the middle of the night, while the 5 AM ones (osl/msl) are watchable if I go to sleep earlier the night before.

I watch them almost all weekends with my girlfriend. Its like a ritual haha. We make pasta and then watch the games. She always falls asleep, she believes that if she isnt asleep and Bisu plays then he will loose. Haha.

PL used to be around 9 or 10 am in the morning here, so I couldn't watch it. But now that it's moved to 4 am I can watch SK, YEEHAW!

If you feel tired, then I would recommend going to bed earlier. If PL is on I go to bed two to three hours earlier, so that I don't feel like crap when I get up. It feels odd to walk to work around 8 am, after having been awake for 4 hours though. It feels more like noon.

It's just way too hard to catch the games that happen at 2am when you have school, but I try to always watch the earlier ones because theres not as much BW as there used to be, so gotta get whatever you can right?

EST here, it's either midnight or 5AM... and I watch all of midnight-starting-ones, sleep like 4 hours then wake up before a long commute to school.

I got into PL because it was on at a convenient time for me- as a poster above mentioned KST is only one hour earlier than Philippine time, so I'd rush home from work and still be able to catch a few games. Now I can catch the 1pm games too since they start on my lunch break. If the series is interesting and I've already finished my tasks for the day, I either keep one window on the match and practice my alt-tabbing skills or refresh the LR thread.

I honestly think bo7s are too long

games last night lasted 4 hours.... i'm probably only going to catch the games that play on friday night from now on =/
