He is worse than a regular pundit on Fox/CNN/MSNBC because he doesn't just take the information from the world and distort it - he actually creates his own conspiracies/worries/issues and then attempts to incite his audience to react to those things that he just created. Like this puppet show thing. I watched 60 seconds. What does it even mean, "the hand behind the puppet show"? That's such an absurdly vague, paranoid, and immature concept. This guy seriously just needs to quit the entertainment industry, go to college, and take an ethics class so he knows that it's NOT OK to deceive thousands of viewers into thinking they're the victims of a nonexistent malicious American government. It honestly doesn't matter what my views are. I just hate the way this guy presents. It is disingenuous and deceitful, and a lot of people who don't have time to do a lot of reading into politics take him seriously. It is completely irresponsible to the American public. He just starts panics. That's his only job on FOX. He makes people panic and they have to come back to him to feel better because he's the only one who understands their panicking, mostly because he's the one who invented the cause for the panic.

I'm happy you took the time to answer the OP's question. Well done.

Glenn Beck represents the darkest parts of the American media a business that is based entirely on fear mongering and ratings and not bringing the public the unbiased truth. They lead people to think what they want them to think instead of promoting free thought. Its bad on both sides of the spectrum the conservatives are just more successful. Look at Fox news ratings compared to everyone else.

I don't know whether he intends to suggest that the Tea Party has a puppeteer, which he's always claimed is genuinely grassroots. I guess we'll find out!
