Now base your price around this : easy work (go between 6 and 9$ an hour, not sure what are standard in your country, just remember you are 15years old and not a professional company so being paid minimum wages is not something you're entitled for) add a third for hard work.

house cleaning should depend on the size of the house and how dirty it is

It's like in the ads section of a newspaper when you come across something like "5 year old Afghan girl, playful and well behaved for sale" - the seconds after the initial shock and the suppressed realization that it's the dog breed that Afghan refers to are pure laughter!

Usually you approach someone and say you want to raise money for X and then you will get them to pay whatever to help you out of their heart rather than paying you for the actual task.

To be honest though, i think you're better off trying to get a job hookup from a relative or just ask your parents for a new computer =p If you show them the research you did on the computer you want and have decent-good grades im sure they'll at least think about it.

Your spoiledness as a child > mine ditto, no allowance here either when i was growing up the prices seems a little high.. i mow the lawn (for free obv) but i don't think it takes me more than 30 minutes.. so that'd be like $5 for a 15yo not sure how that turns into $20. oh well edit: in the end it's not the price that matters, it's how well you get along with whomever you're doing the job for. talk to them and see what they expect or what they like, you'd be surprised.. for example they might have something fairly simple to do that they really want to have done, but haven't been able to get around to (like cleaning out the basement or something) and pay you very well just to have it done make a good impression first, discuss details later imo
