Hi guys,
First of all, if I know you irl, please don't tell anyone else at school about this idea. This is mainly because I don't want people to think I'm doing it and then if I can't pull it off I'll look like a retard. Also, I would like it to be a surprise. Thanks so much and I'll buy you alcohol and have a mini Halloween party for you guys.
Anyways, I would like to be a cup of bubble tea for Halloween this year. This fits me because I'm Taiwanese. I also want to be able to go up to girls and say "suck my balls." I'm very immature.
The one thing is, I can't think for the life of me how to make this costume. I googled and searched ebay etc and I can't figure out how to do this! I did find this pic:
http://youoffendmeyouoffendmyfamily.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Photo8-400x306.jpg
but I can't really figure out how she made that. Does anyone have any ideas for materials (preferably that you could buy at wal mart/target/grocery store) or anything that I could use to make this happen?
Thanks!

You're probably best off going to a crafts and/or dollar store to find things to build it from if you are making it from scrap. As for actually putting it together, I have no idea.

so ur just making a 'flat' bubble tea cup right?
looks like u can get a big ass piece of acrylic or really hard cardboard. then paint it orange or whatever colour u want.
then get a big ass piece of transparent plastic and curve it and then stick the 2 long sides to the carboard.
oh perhaps before u do that u should stick whtaever your're making the 'pearls' with on to the cardboard first.
and u can also put some designs and stuff on the transparent plastic with paint before u attach it ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
oh if u want it to look more awesome u could even make a bottom for the cup then u dont have to stick the pearls on and they could even SHAKE AROUND! OMGG AND U COULD HAND THEM OUT TO THE HOT CHICKS

What I would do: -Cut out two cardboard washers, to be fit around the waist and neck. The one for the neck should be larger in diameter. -Grab some sturdy plastic wrap (just something flexible and transparent o_o) and use it to connect the washers. This will form the side of the cup. -Obtain some styrofoam balls, about baseball size, and color them black somehow. Also obtain a large quantity of light-colored foam packaging pellets. -Make a hole in the top (neck) disk, and drop the styrofoam and packaging pellets inside in a good mix. -Fashion a straw out of a used tube of cardboard (like the things that gift wrap is sold on). -Color all cardboard as necessary -Flaunt balls
man I put too much faith in cardboard and styrofoam

Also known as boba. It's basically milk tea with tapioca pearls at the bottom that you chew on while you drink. You suck up those balls with your straw, as OP would like to have girls say...

oh man, it's some cold tea drink, that has fruity flavors and shit, but the cool part is the 'bubbles', little tapioca balls that sit on the bottom and you suck them up with a big straw. little chewy, almost flavourless things, but they make the whole experience pretty cool, lol.
EDIT: lol, totally missed another definition, it's too late at night

I would use hula hoops to form the structure of your cup. You can cut them down and tape it back together to create a taper to it, or make it a cylinder. Clever use of duct tape, suspenders, or other straps could hold it onto your body.
As suggested, you could wrap this with something see-through (I've seen giant rolls of 'stretch tight wrap (celophane, but i can't spell that shit at 2am), that may work. Then you can attempt to find brownish packing peanuts and styrofoam balls, after sealing off the bottom (while still allowing for you to wear it/walk). Add a straw made from rolled paper poking out by your head.
An easier way would be to wrap the hula hoops in long brown paper (either from a big roll like schools have, or even the kind places use to crumple up and use as a packing material) and cut out circles or whatever to use as tapioca balls. You wouldn't have to worry about filling it this way, and easier to remove the costume in case the ladies actually wish to.. as you said.
