I don't see what good it would bring even if you did win and put them in their place. Because if they are who you say they are, they will probably just be like, "lol ur such a nerd, ur only good cuz u play so much, u have no life" and you won't even have a good retort to the statement.

So either leave them alone or you could try to show them up in something that they probably dont give a shit about, and you will just end up looking like a complete douche in the process. What happens if you beat them? did you really 'put them in their place'? most likely as i said, they wont really care and continue doing their thing, or they will just call you a 'nerd who plays video games all day long'.

Just find some way to get them in a 2v2 for money and win. Then it's worth it clearly, no ambiguity. The only question is how to minimize the possibility of them dodging. Or if they see diamond on your account, they might not do it.
