Winners get money towards their program, the five winners share $10 million usd. I got a big smile when I saw Khan Academy, a website started by Salman Khan. The videos on that site are amazing and I could really see it leading to something great in future sites like it. Fortunately his program is about to get $2 million usd. Congrats to him and his organization, it is truly deserved. For those who haven't seen the site or the videos (I know they have been posted on this site quite a bit) should give it a look. There are plenty of clear and instructive videos on many subjects (math, physics, chemistry, history). http://www.khanacademy.org/ If you have trouble reading from a book to learn, these videos might be something for you. + Show Spoiler + fucking amazing

Humbug United States264 Posts September 26 2010 22:49 GMT #3 Wow that's an impressive collection of educational videos he made D: I really wish I heard of him during my junior and senior years of high school, it would've helped so much lol :/ It's great that he won the money though, hopefully it gets used to make his website even more expansive in the topics covered and accessible to more people.
