SC2 doesn't really excite me much as a spectator game so the GSL doesn't appeal to me hugely, however I'll probably watch the finals. I couldn't care less if all the players were from the dominican republic, korea or the USA, its the game more than anything else that discourages watching.

If you have an interest in watching top level SC2 (with good commentary) why would you not watch the GSL?

I hope there are less low skill players (non-koreans) in the next GSL.

Agreed. I don't know what these guys are blabbing about but the Koreans were the best players and had the best games. They're probably masking the "us foreigners suck compared to koreans" by saying "im watching but don't care/lost interest." In terms of pure SC2 skills, the ro16 is extremely exciting. Maybe it's the teenagers who watch the GSL to see their non-korean e-celebs.

I don't think its fair to generalize that much at this stage, many of the koreans in the RO64 and RO32 were fucking abysmal - had TLO played someone else, he may well have got to the RO16. I do broadly agree with the KR>Other argument though

I don't know whether to laugh or not. Hmmmmmm.. Might have something to do with the location of the tourny..? I feel for you americans though. GSL starts right when I get home from class most days, perfect for chilling and eating for awhile once I get home. ![]()
