Razer Salmosa pro-gaming edition

killanator United States549 Posts August 29 2010 23:12 GMT #1 I currently use a Logitech Mini Optical, but now that I've been playing purely HD games save for a tiny bit of brood war, it seems like its finally time for me to switch to a higher dpi mouse. This mouse is very rare but it looks like it would be good for me to pursue as it is the same size as my mini optical(best mouse ive ever used). Has anyone else had experience with this mouse(or just regular salmosa) and can give me any good input?

However, I like the shape of the LMO much more and prefer it for SC and SC2 (I play SC2 at a low res). Another thing I dislike about the Salmosa is the weird material used on the entire upper part of the mouse. It has a rubbery kind of feel and mine started to peel off after a couple of months. These are pretty minor complaints. That being said, the Salmosa would probably work out very well for you.

It's performed great, and the 800-1800 dpi switch was just about right for switching from brood war to sc2. Like somebody above me said, the surface is a little weird, but all in all, it's a solid, straightforward mouse.

Prozen United States338 Posts August 30 2010 01:52 GMT #9 I'd get the Abyssus. It's supposed to be the successor to the Salmosa and it's made of a better surface material. You get more DPI too.
