so a while ago I've made the work for Dominion poster contest

and since I had to make the 3d hirez hellion anyway, I decided to render a turntable

hopefully next time i decide to make fan art for Blizzard games, I won't have to rush it so much

Ooh that's nice! Wouldn't mind taking it for a spin on the beach. Its interesting to see vehicles/units up close because sometimes the features just kind of blend in with each other and when you zoom in and actually look closely they can look completely different. Case in point the immortal for me - it looks very Egyptian with a strange head if you zoom in but in months of playing I had never noticed.

i hear you. i spent some time print screening Blizzard hellions and other stuff close-up, and I've made a number of surprising observations.
and of course their attention to detail is amazing

Mad skills. And if you didn't have much time putting the hellion together, I can't wait to see something you've put alot of time into. Maybe do a thor next?

Do you work as an artist? or have some sort of backround with it?

well... I have too many ideas and too little time. if this work raises interest, i will probably proceed with more. pretty sure people will like some wallpapers.

and yes, there is some background

I definitely came in here expecting a hellion to grow arms and start DJing a zergling party with such hits as "Fire" by Jimi Hendrix, "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen.
