I am not going to complain that they are underpowered or whatnot, nor are they overpowered. I just dont know why terrans seem to NEVER expect DTs. When the DTs show up at terran's wall, they scan and kill it. But then another single DT comes up after the scan and continues the first one's business. Normally terran would have an eng bay (since mm is standard against toss, and they want upgrades), so they can throw up turrets, but DTs can easily snipe the scvs building them, and carry on to inflict more damage on the mining/army. Ok, and even if they do kill the DTs, that mindfucks them into either saving Oc energy for scans, or making turrets everywhere. While hes saving energy/building turrets, i could be making a large zealsentryimmort army at his nat. Usually by this time they either gg or just ragequit, but it seems every terran i've faced in a while is unprepared for it.
Why do terrans never expect DTs when facing toss?

Yes, these are scrubs. It's plat league.
If you're looking for decent play, get into diamond. Even then a lot of people will be horrible.

I hate when people use DTs against me , it feels like Bisu build 2.0

DTs imo is a solid option vs Terran due to how it provides both opportunity to do dmg, forces the terran to use scans and defense that he/she would otherwise not want to and most importantly it provides map control until the terran actually gets a raven.

dts suck so bad vs terran lol
if they go 1/1/1 you're instantly dead
if they scout ur dt tech (which they have a million ways to do) they are going to own you
if they wall in it won't do shit
and there's about a million other things that can go wrong
of course this is all assuming you're playing decent players.

its also owned by ghost/marine if you have a wall. something thats very difficult to handle is warp prism dt expand. its kind of like dt drops but more expensive, yet much more annoying. the moment the terran moves out hes got a dt and 3 zealots in his base

this is only slightly related but i saw the coolest damn thing on LZ's stream last night
lz was playing tvp, he went for 1rax FE into 3 more rax + adding factory
he comsatted and saw the toss with 1 gate adding on 3 more gates, so he was like "well he's allining to try to kill me". he proceeds to build 3 bunkers at his front (this was lt) and fills them with marines
then suddenly, boom, warp prism appears above his ramp, sentry/stalker/zealot unloads, sentry forcefields his ramp so the marines can't come up, and the guy warps in 4 stalkers above his ramp. proceeds to kill a bunch of scvs and his barracks while warping in more units until LZ finally holds it off (losing quite a bit). lz does manage to kill the warp prism.
guess what, 1-1.5 minutes later another warp prism appears dropping an immortal and a stalker and he warps in 5 more units and forcefields the ramp again. the soon warps in 5 more units and lz has to gg.
the guy even saved up his chronoboost to chronoboost all 4 warpgates for his initial warping in, it was so awesome

but anyway, any Terran (or player of any race that is) will be prepared for an early cloak rush, unless they're winging their build. It's one of the first things you make sure you cover when planning your builds.

I'm pretty paranoid. I always get an an engy bay around the time my fact finishes (If I'm not going heavy bio/megarax)

They dont expect it because thier scouting blows, and everyone thinks they will be able to handle it with just scan

DTs aren't expected anymore because they are just so damn ineffective as a rush strategy, especially vs Terran. Dark Templar tech is just so damn expensive and Terran has so many easy ways to stop it (turrets, scan, raven, EMP, wallin) and the fact that the dark shrine takes nearly 2 minutes gametime to complete makes the rush come later than most of its counters.
Dark Templar just got seriously nerfed in Starcraft 2 that their only use is as a "WTF why did he build those" unit.

The problem with going DTs early on is that Terran likes to wall off, is going to have an engy bay anyway for upgrades, and if they do any sort of aggression before you get them, your gateway-only army is boned. I can potentially see their use midgame to harass expos, but even then I'd rather just run some gateway units over there instead.

Yeah DT's are useless even in the hands of a good player. NOT.
Just because they go 1/1/1 does not mean they will get a raven ASAPLY
Terran can scount tech just as easily (more easily) then protoss, seeing as how you only need a rax for scan (OC) while observers are much higher up the tech tree.
If they wall you send individual DT's to harass, he does not have infinite scans.
What are the million other things that can go wrong? (by wrong do you mean outplayed?)

Raven, Banshee, and Viking are really the only 3 air units he's going to get first. He's not going to get a viking first if you don't go Stargate, and if he goes Banshee, he'll be killing your probes before you even break down his wall.

eh plat is a joke i skipped the campaign completely and went straight to multiplayer not knowing what any units did, ive played 12 games and im already top of my plat league with 400 pts or whatever.
P.S. how do you get into diamond anyway? tired of playing bads
