EPTThis mix ended up with a fair amount of well know artists, particularly the Warp label stuff. It is interesting to see how underused such tracks are on mixcloud (if you click a song title you can see all the mixes it is in). The Boards of Canada track I used this week, for example, hasn't been used in any other mixes. Compare this to the Hudson Mohawke track I put in last week's mix, which has a page full of mixes it has been used in. A lot of things could account for this, though the pattern I see mainly points to newness and hype driving usage in mixes. Not exactly surprising, but I enjoy seeing trends like this manifest themselves.
