Well Sc2 is just a few days and i dont see the point of training my BW skill to the max.So from today onwards I gonna 5 pool every single game I play,I am going to /clearstats within an hour and start my cheese fest till I go crazy or something.

My friend got B- going only 4 pool and he's a 90 apm D+ player normally.
I'm also pretty sure 4 pool is always superior to 5 pool, but it's been a while...

I didn't mean to derail this thread into a SC2 hate (even if I actually hate it).
But basically OP is :
1. SC2 going to be released soon
2. I don't see the point of training BW. (he could read SC2 strategies, or watch Top SC2 players replays, but instead decides to pool5 everygame)
3. "start my cheese fest till I go crazy or something." = I'll play BW until I'm sick of it.
If OP said he was to be curious and wanted to see which rank he could hit with 5pool every game, I could see a purpose, but all he is saying is "I'll do this until I get sick of the game, just before SC2 release".
So when I said "You know SC2 is an inferior game, so you're trying to disgust yourself of BW" it's actually the purpose of 5pooling everygame that makes the most sense.

Lol, there was a guy on my CSL team who had never heard of TL or ICC. I just picked him up because we needed a 4th player. He was not even d- level and was the kind of person who would try to make ultralisks off 1 base.
First game of CSL he beats Saracen with 5 pool looolll. Then wins with another 5 pool in the next match. After that people watch his replays and he loses the rest. But the point is, 5 pool can win you a lot of games even if you're at the level where don't know how to use control groups O_O

Haha, hilarious story. And the funniest part is that you are right, 5 pool is great build in that case. I'm sure that if SKT zergs had used it every single game of the playoffs they would have done better than their dismal 1-7 record !

if that fails just leave. dont try to delay the first cannon if it means losing ur lings. its more important to keep them alive so u can delay mining, kill the pylon/forge at the front, and force him to make multiple cannons in his main

I can confirm this. I opened 12pool expand versus an unscouted 5pool and missed my hatch cancel. The pool didn't even finish by the time the lings were up my ramp. Oops. (Fortunately I beat you guys in the ace match, though).

5 pool is used vs P because it is hard to kill the P that way, and people use 5 pool to cripple him and then kill him with a hydra bust

Hmm, good luck with your 5 pools.
I must say though, I prefer the 2 gate opening as protoss just because the chance of getting 4/5 pooled is so incredibly high in the low ranks.

Nice D+. At the rate you're going C- is very accessible. This actually reminds me a lot of the youtube threads from over a year ago where some dude 4 pooled every game on python until he lost (he got through 11 games or so).
