You know what the one thing is that unites all members of TL? We are all procrastinators. Don’t try to argue, just look at your hands, you’re doing it right now.
Well today I thought I’d talk about using software to prevent oneself from procrastinating too much. This will be a multipart series where I examine three pieces of software that aid in the weaknesses of one another to form an impenetrable shield against over-procrastination. If you would like to subscribe to the next two parts of the series, make a note telling me in this blog and I will remember to send you a pm when they come out.
First things first: These computer programs will only help you to procrastinate less; they will not get rid of your procrastinating habits.
Now that that little disclaimer is gone, there is a freeware program called manic time. This thing automatically starts up and records the amount of time you spend doing things on the computer. Now you can feel exactly like you would if you were browsing in China! You can track what you're spending it on and the statistics page is really easy to use. I have been using it for two years and have not encountered any adaware.

Please note that I am not in any way involved with this company, I just feel this program was specifically designed for people who have problems with procrastination. It lets them see exactly how much they're actually hurting themselves. You can see trends to find out what your triggers to procrastination are: work, friends, etc... This allows you to formulate a plan to tackle your addiction. Pretty smart huh? Pin it to your start menu. Then next week, tell me how many hours you’ve spent on TL just browsing in this poll.

I think the proper question is how many hours do I spend OUTSIDE of TL?
I actually spend quite a lot of hours here. Probably 7 - 10 would be a good number for me in terms of weekly browsing.

Ill start this up at midnight tonight and then get back to you, im fairly sure its 24 hours though, i always leave TL facebook/myspace and steam open no matter what

Easily 20+, because of my job. I sit in a vehicle all day counting cars, so it's pretty easy to open up TL and surf for several hours a day on my phone. Not to mention when I get home... like now... I'm gonna go outside. Wow.

I think this^ but if I actually calculated the time, it could be more LOL. But even with all this browsing I usually learn a lot from this awesome sexy site, so even though you might feel horrible for browsing so much, you can gain knowledge from a large variety of things on here!

Way too many hours, I'm addicted to TL. I spend way too much time waiting for updates and reading trash here. The fact that I clicked on this blog AND posted in it tells alot. (No offense)
