I was about to say the same thing. I will admit that the SC2 forum can be annoying sometimes with all these new members, but I don't hate them nor the section. Right now I think SC2 is good, but I still prefer BW over it. After so many years playing SC, I can't seem to enjoy SC2 the same as BW. I still play 1v1's or 2v2's with friends on SC2, but I can't stand playing more than 30-45 minutes of that game. Hopefully that will change in the future. | ||

Maybe I'm just ignorant of the scope of the new SC2 gamers but still I doubt it's really 9 out of 10.. I mean there's still proleague and a good number of ppl following BW. SC2 is a new game so it's going to attract a bunch of new gamers initially, but who knows what will happen once the hype dies down. | ||

It's bizarre that this site is supposedly the most popular BW forum on the internet, yet almost nobody here is actually good at the game. Almost as bad are the live report threads where everyone is applying their D rank logic to pro games and always saying "this progamer is so terrible". In BW I have enough experience to know how bad this is, but in SC2 I don't. | ||

It's not like this happens that often. Sure you get "bw4lyfe" posts but those are mostly contained within the BW section, and are pretty much akin to "SKT ftw" rather than actual bashing. There hasn't been an anti-SC2 blog in a long time afaik... | ||

I'll enjoy both, although there are a lot of new annoying posters in SC2 atm - give it some time, we'll reform them. the thing is, there will only be a TSL3 for ONE of the games. there will only be CSL for ONE of them. ive only got enough free time for ONE of them. it was so much less satisfying in phase 1 of the beta when I was playing beta in my free time and watching BW in my other free time. playing and watching the same game is so much more satisfying and fun for me, and I've only personally got enough free time for ONE game. also i dont know the exact ratio of people here "only for SC2", but I really hope it's not that high  . surely at least half the people here still follow BW to some extent right? | ||

And according to the poll in OP, I'm not the only one who thinks SC2 forums are garbage "screw SC2 forum" + "Yes" = 75% gg nore. Eventhough I admit it's biaised as people who hate it will be more enclined to vote against than people who are just "ok" with it, it's still a huge proportion nonetheless. | ||
