I didn't put this in the strategy forum because I felt it didn't belong here. I just want to know if people would consider this cheesy or if its just aggressive.
Basically I don't start off with the intention to go all in or anything but my first little poke seems to find a weakness. So I just start making a lot of stuff and trying to win outright because it looks like I can.
On another note, I know cheese is part of the game and its not like I'm the worst person in the universe for cheesing. I just have really never liked rushing/cheesing and don't want to do that. I have selected the replay I think shows this best. It's quick so it wont take too much of your time.

It's a gamble, but it works. You can't pull it off if he gets one sentry to FF the ramp, most good players will tho.

That's quite true. But do you suppose I would be in bad shape economically if he did that? I would still have a pretty mighty army and then maybe be able to whore drones for a little while. Not sure though.

He's in a terrible shape just by going 1 base, you don't have to tag along the low econ boat. However, if he FFs half of your roaches up the ramp I can't see you holding 4 gate.

It's aggression.
Day9 mentioned once the tendency of Zerg players to produce units and produce workers in a sort of sine wave pattern where Zerg drones hard, then gets lots of units, then drones hard again, etc. After 3:25 you started focusing hard on roaches and I wondered, "Is he going to start making drones again?" but you did. And you expanded, too, so it was risky but it wasn't like you were throwing your entire economy away or anything.

Ah. Good point. Do you suppose I should poke up with a ling to see for a sentry or something like that? Because I'm pretty sure you're right about me being screwed if any significant number of my guys gets Force Fielded.

That's gonna mean one drone less, since you are saving up larvae for a roach pump. If your build can take the hit, go for it.

cheese is a word for bad players, eliminate it from your vocabulary and be rid of its negative connotation!
