Hello TL users I would like to find out the average TL user APM. I am hoping for a pool of over 200 submissions. So please post your APM. At the end I'll post the average in an edit. Thanks P.S You can do either SC1, or SC2, but label it, or it will not be counted. Okay so everyone who submitted thankyou, and the average APM from a total submissions of 71 is 168.5
In sc1 I average about 115 APM
In sc2 i average about 70. But hoping to improve quite alot because i went from like 30 to 70 during beta Why not make a poll for this btw?
Feels like I have seen these before. Anyway: 220 APM, 130 EAPM
My apm in SC1 is around 180~~ish. Don't know really my APM in SC2 as I havn't really played it that much.

There are a lot of posts with people's apm here if you don't get enough.
Because when you left, Brood War was all spotlights and titans. Now, with the death of the big leagues, Brood War has moved to the basements and carparks. Now, Brood War is unlicensed brawls, lost teeth, and bloody fights for fistfulls of money - SirJolt

Because this will be more accurate.

lol, are you for rela? most of us are D-C+ where you can manage with under 200 apm, there was that B zerg, whose ID i always remember that had so little apm 130-140 here, tho I haven't played in a while, might be less ^^ EDIT: we are talking about eAPM, right? cuz I spam a lot
SC1 - Average, average APM is 170
SC1, 160~190 apm SC2 dunno but I could play this game with an arm off.On July 08 2010 17:38 Mortician wrote: Show nested quote + On July 08 2010 17:29 cemlions wrote: I would like to find out the average TL user APM. I am hoping for a pool of >200 APM submissions.

I played vs Eriador last week. He is B/B+ zerg and is 160 apm.
SC:BW 110-135ish SC2 Less, but mostly because I end up freeballing a lot and thus can't get quick. Speed comes from Precision which comes from knowing what to do.

The number of apm submissions not apm getting submitted, its not really good stats if I am selective of who I will count
SC2 - 90 (fastest with spam, etc.)
Why don't you make a poll? (easier to compute average) Also if you do a search there have been polls in the past. Edit: As for me SC1: 220~250 SC2: 130~160
SC1-250, 140-150 EAPM SC2- During the very short time I played, I had 150..but thats cuz I didn't use MBS or mass selection..otherwise probably 60 or something
200 apm in both bw and sc2.
Out of all my 2000 bw reps I have an average of 210 apm, in sc2 I hover at 130
SC1 - 180 AVG SC2 - 100 AVG
my apm in sc1 is about 120 or something
SC1: about 90 APM SC2: about the same as above, but i spam in SC2 for APM.
uhh Broodwar TvZ - 190APM eAPM : 150 TvP/TvT - 150APM eAPM : 110 SC2 60APM
IIRC The apm in SC2 also doesn't correct for time since the game is faster meaning an in-game minute<real-minute so you have to bump these numbers by a bit .

Well, here goes. APM isn't really too big of a deal though. It helps, but I tend to focus on it more that what I'm actually supposed to be doing. SC:BW 200

pretty poor spamming! BW : 220-250 SC2: 160-180
SC1 - Protoss: 260 Zerg: ~280 Terran: 300+ SC2 - Really fluctuates depending on matchup + units. ~170 average. 120 being the absolute lowest, 220 high end.
Just to drive the average down a little: SC1: 100-110
SC : ~180 apm SC2 : never played
BW: 120 SC2 don't play much
SC:BW - ~250 SC2 - No idea, never played it and probably never will.
sc1: 160ish (drops the longer the game goes on) sc2: Havent played :[
sc1 im about 95 as zerg lol 70 as toss... Don't ask about terran.

bw 140 - 200 (170 is a good average) APM, EAPM 100 - 130 sc2 never played
sc1 130 on a good day, 80 on a bad day.
SC1: about 215 Haven't played SC2
sc1: 150 sc2: dunno, maybe 100
SCBW: 95 well, 110 with zerg, 85 with protoss, 95 with terran, but of all my reps added together, 95
BW, between 115 and 130, depending on the race i am against. (kinda strange) SC2, around 70-80 every game. Automine FTW!

YOUR EAPM does not count, imo. BW, APM around 250-270, with ~200 EAPM.
BW - ~190-200 SC2 - SC2 APM is stupid.On July 08 2010 23:56 Noe wrote: YOUR EAPM does not count, imo.

I'm pretty sure progamers have less than 200 EAPM.
SC1 - Average 140-220 depending on chat and skill of opponent. Edit: Proof, since bragging means jack shit. Here one of me playing a friend (D-level, lot of chat in the first half of the game though, as you can hopefully see... But it's one of only a few I have since I don't normally autoreplay with chaosplugin.)
sc1: 110 ish sc2: 80-100 ish
sc2 120, but then, i dont spam the buttons, i press once and only the nessesary..
sc1 - 227, according to my bwchart of the last two seasons of iccup that i played

Why the hell do you have 240 APM in DotA?
SC1 was about 160-180 average, I don't know my SC2 offhand.
