Since 2008, there have been few tournaments (outside of major LAN or TL events) that I haven't had my hand in in some respect. I've organized 5 SoCal LAN's, a D.C. LAN, a Montreal LAN, co-ran WGTCL, and hosted a bunch of other tournaments for the community. Lately I haven't been doing as much.
With SC2 there is so much energy around the community, I've seen my good friend RandomKorean raise over $1,000 for a tournament, I've seen Husky go from being an anonymous Youtube caster in the shadow of people like Diggity and Day9 to becoming basically one of the 3 most popular casters and getting a sick sponsor to host a huge tournament (HD Invite)... and I've seen other people take initiative and start up some really big events (Global Gamers tour).
And then it hit me, wtf have I been doing? Sitting here on my ass watching all of this. It's time to start getting to work, get my head back in the game so to speak. And I shall!
I've got some fucking awesome shit planned over the next few months, I'm just waiting for the final pieces of the puzzle to fall into place before I put it all into motion. Big things are in store for the community though!
So the super active and motivated Xeris is back for good. And if for some reason a string of unfortunate events comes around and fucks my plans up, well, at least I will be able to fulfill my second promise : expanding my motivation to all aspects of my "E-Life" which includes not being a lazy shit poster on TL.
So two possibilities:
1) Good poster Xeris + fucking amazing events in the next few months,
2) Good poster Xeris
BUT YA, I'm pumped and ready for SC2!
