So I intend for this to be a weekly blog. Back in November I posted a mix here that I did for some friends and I've gotten a steady amount of downloads from TL since. I told myself I'd do this when the downloads from TL hit 100 and that happened this weekend. The music I use will range from quite new to a few decades old, generally in and around non-dancey idm and hiphop beat styles. Tracks will be played more or less in full; it is meant to be like a radio show not a dj set. I aim to keep them around 80-90 minutes in length. Criticism definitely encouraged, especially from a technical standpoint.
The intent behind this week's mix is for it to be structured like a mushroom trip. It starts off chilled out, then soon things get a little weird, more fun with a little bit of introspection, a build up to a peak, a leveling off and a steady, blissful comedown.
