It's 4:10am and I just finished sharing a short song I wrote a couple hours back
And I just thought I'd share it with anyone on TL.net who's willing to give it a listen as well! =)
But first!! Some self-deprecation..
I'm not really a great singer and I admit that. On top of that!! I'm not really great at writing lyrics either! So I admit that part as well. But these lyrics have to deal with something that I had just gone through which can be found here
Anyway, I know we all have different musical tastes but I really like that 4 chords I strummed together on this one lol. It's simple but I really like it!
Nice, simple song. Like the poster above me said, you need a better mic, but at least you can keep your voice for the most part in tune. I liked it, a nice break from the (imo) predominantly electronic music generated from TL users.
you know, you can probably borrow a microphone from a friend if you don't have one. either that, or you can buy a good $50 one from costco, and return it when you are done. haha. it's so mean, but i've done it with more expensive things.
Wow thats really good! the lyrics and voice plus the guitar is definitely good. but yah... the whole mic thing.... lol it was good for your equipment though ^_^ I loved it
you can't go wrong with a shure sm58 mic (100-150 bucks). but then you've gotta get a mixer which will cost you some money. now i'll listen to the song.
EDIT: so you have a can hit the right notes, which means that you have the potential to be a good singer (some people lack that hearing). it may just be that it was 4 am, but you sound really quiet. I think you could afford to put a bit more strength into the notes, especially the high ones. all in all a good start.
btw, what high school did you go to (just curious)
