zOula: yeah exactly my thoughts. Even though her music is not my style, she has a great voice ^_^ Marradron: She sang "Ice Queen - Within Temptation" when she was around 18 as a closer for her graduation from high school and people said that they could almost hear no difference from Sharon's voice (but yeah... X_X good luck with that)... But since she's moved out from the house and gotten 2 kids, I don't really know how much more she has done. ^_^ Will keep you posted. xD | ||

Encourage her to keep going with it. Critically, the song itself isn't great. Everything sounds good, just not great. There is no real "reason" to listen to the song. No hook. | ||

I know there's no Z sound in Swedish, and that's probably the reason why it's so common for us to suffer from dysphonia when it comes to pronouncing words like "was" and "wise" (just grabbing two examples from your sister's song). She needs to be able to distinguish from common S's and Z's. Always sounds like swedes are talking german when they're pronouncing "was". Same goes, for "wise", sounds like we're saying "weiss". It's funny because germans (though they usually have funny accents) generally don't make the same mistakes. But they have the Z sound in their language, so they're able to distinguish between S and Z easier than swedes. Anyway, might not seem like a big deal, but it does quite honestly take away alot of the professional feel from her performance (as it does from all artists singing in swenglish). | ||
