Starcraft BW is nearing its demise on the international scene. It is possible that BW still might have a couple of years left in terms of Proleague, OSL, and MSL (basically the Korean pro scene). For this reason it appears Baby is perfect to embody the image of BW into the futue...he is the youngest progamer currently and has been called a prodigy.

Recently BaBy has been performing very well, with wins over both Jaedong (in a best of 5 series!!) and has been competing at the highest levels of TvT, being very close to FlaSh on several occasions, and finally triumphing a few days ago.

I sincerely think BaBy is the future of BW. FlaSh is still the king, but after his time is finished, the throne will be passed down to the next Terran emperor...

Boxer -> FlaSh -> BaBy

The problem is the age gap between flash and baby is small and that theyll eventually be battling for that top terran spot like the current flash jd situation(in terms of overall best player).

Eh, it was more like Boxer -> Nada/Oov -> Flash -> Baby but I digress. If there is still 2 years left in BW I can see Baby winning a few OSL/MSL titles but what I really hope for is the Korean players coming and dominating sc2.

Don't know if you noticed, but flash is also very young (17, 19 in korean years). Flash is only two years older than BaBy. Boxer is 12 years older, iloveoov is 9 years older, and nada is 7 years older than flash. Flash's time will end at about the same time as BaBy's

Uh Baby 2-0'ed Jaedong in the OSL in a Bo3, not a Bo5.
As such though BaBy is very good. He can only get better.

I think that Baby is to Flash as Effort is to Jaedong. Baby won't be considered a better player than Flash when future generations look back at their careers, but he will have streaks where he plays better than Flash. (like right now)
