 I'm making weekly reports on my eur/usd trading in Russian. I wonder if any of you know something (in order to help me with advise) or interested if I will repost it here on my TL blog. I've graduated in Russian far-eastern National University. Finance&Credit / Insurance. Started speculating in 2007 (with major summs. $100 deposit do not count). In 2007 I've made +17.5% from dad's ~$43k deposit. Actually that was "below average" result, as buy-and-hold would give me the same. Maximum loss -8%. Stocks only. In 2008 I've made +83% from ~$5k. Good result, as using buy-and-hold I would lose ~75% (thanks to Crysis peak in Russia) Maximum loss however was -47%. (Thus my depo was like: $5k -> $2.5k -> $9k). Futures and Options In 2009 I was inactive due to exams in university, moving to Moscow and other personal reasons. In 2010 I want to try Forex (eur/usd cfd). Started with $4k, Feb 2010. Max loss for now: -9,68% Now ~$4k (floating, depends on market situation). You may check up my opened positions @ google.wave. All comments are Russian and that is what I would like to translate. And one more thing. I'm in no case advertising any fx broker or whatever. Trading means high risk. I just want to find best of your comments to be better | ||

What's the lowest amount one should try this with? some brokers offer $20 minimal deposit, But I won't recommend to start less than $1k. That's the ammount you can star trading with adequate risks. The best way to "try" is to make a freedeposit/"learndeposit" where you have some virtual account you trade with. Just try think that's the real money to practise your patience | ||
