Women are very insecure about their bodies, I'd say more so than most men. You should be supporting her with reasons to respect herself - otherwise you're admitting that there is some flaw that needs to be corrected, which I think is disgusting and reflects just how much pressure women are under to hate their bodies.

I don't think you can seriously believe that she's doing it "for herself." Of course not, it's to make an impression on a society that judges her first by her looks, second by her confidence, and third by her intellect. Let me ask you this: if you felt that your penis wasn't up to womens' preference in size, would you get surgery? Not as likely, because this information isn't advertised to the world by the shape of your clothing, it doesn't impact your likelihood of getting a job or making new friends, and people need to meet you as a person before they "get to know you better." Women are the victims here, and nodding to this sexism is counterproductive - and how old is your gf? She may very likely regret this decision in 5 or 10 years when she's more mature.

It makes all the difference (or at least, it will to her) on how she feels about herself after (visible scarring , symmetry etc) The challenge in plastic surgery is all in reconstructive. When I say "for herself" I mean for her own satisfaction in feeling more attractive to the opposite sex as opposed to doing it for me. If I was going to get penis enlargement surgery I would be doing it for my own satisfaction of knowing I have a large penis. The decision to do so may be a subconscious result of societal pressure, but if it makes me happy then why not. There always has been and always will be a societal perception of what is attractive, and I agree that it is unfortunate when it becomes twisted and inaccurate, but the reality of the matter is that men find women with breasts more attractive on average. I think my girlfriend is beautiful and sexy the way she is, but ultimately its her decision to make, and if it makes her feel better about her body than who am I to argue. She is an intelligent, strong minded woman, and I respect her decision. Also, about the penis issue, if anything its just as much of an issue as breast size. There was an intersting documentary about penis size posted on TL.net a few months ago if you are curious I'm sure you can find it. Also: If you read the OP, I made this blog post to ask about experiences people have had with girlfriends/family getting implants and maybe give me a heads up for what to expect recovery wise. None of these questions have been answered, and I didn't make this thread to discuss whether or not it is right for her to get implants or the societal expectations placed on women.

I suggest Dr. Raul Carceras, from Manhattan, New York, not sure if I spelled the name right, but you live in Canada so he probably wouldn't be your first choice. Shes getting B cups, the Surgeon has a great reputation and is on the board of directors for the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, so I'm not concerned about that. There will be no pictures lol.

I'd suggest you search around http://www.shacknews.com/latestchatty.x since it's a more mature crowd and I remember seeing many personal experiences about implants there. http://www.shacknews.com/search.x?type=comments&terms=implants wife&cs_user=&cs_parentauthor=&s_type=all Try that? It is better to be natural. Natural looks the best, be it big or small. ![]() Surgery cost money, and there is risk. What happens if you spend so much money and then it ended up so ugly. There is no turning back. What if something went wrong, and then ended up with wierd wierd shape. Yea, about the shape. Natural breast is a bun shape. Firm and nice. The breast implant makes breast more like ball shape. Ah, maybe find those breast implant photo, you will understand. It doesn't feel right ![]() I remember I spend alot money buying things I always wanted, but after a few days I felt nothing special about it. Better not spend the money. It doesn't help ![]() Ah, maybe I wrote all these because I biased..I like natural.... Never mind, I'll post it anyway.

Lol you are too cute OPs girlfriend doesn't understand that the change is permanent, even if she wants her natural perky breast back she will have scars for the rest of her life, no matter how good the surgeon is. Once you've done the surgery you've forever branded yourself with it and joined millions of insecure females that desperately tried plastic surgery. Why won't she ask herself if she is that bad? Unless her breast was deformed or completely ugly I would never want that to happen.
