So, I'm terrible at scII. I don't mean 'newbie rushing every game' terrible.. I mean 'thinks he's gonna play safe and hold of all the cheese and macro like a pro.. but then forgets to make a hydra den' terrible.
However, in the wonderful world that is silver, i had a wonderful moment. I was attacking a terran's front, he did something madly stupid in the game, (I assume, cause I was actually beating him) and i wanted to know what was behind his wall in..
So I send in the changeling. Simple. There's 2 marines. In the time it takes me to fine the 1 key (of course EVERY fighting unit I have is hotkeyed to 1) IT happens.
My changeling is outside his base. He sees it. He OPENS his depo wall to let it in! I sprint my hydras in and he GGs (well, no-one ggs anymore in silver, but he leaves).
It struck me as the perfect lore moment, where the changling comes knocking, and the terran's lower their defenses. If i'd known that would work, I would have had burrowed roaches sneak in!

i got 1 to, was playing a 2v2 with friends, and one paused the games and said "hey guys, i cant group all my units together, do u know what is wrong?"
ofc it was the changeling and he had never seen it b4 i guess, i laughed so hard

hahaha! that reminds me of a friend of mine, every time we played 'cheat' (aka, bluff, bullshit etc) he'd ask, "what do i do if i can't play any cards?"

I imagine a story being written about this. A shorthanded outpost against the Zerg army. A marine on the inside, seeing a zerg invasion, attempts to save a marine trapped outside the foritifications. As it enters, it morphs into a grotesque blob of changeling. He reaches for the switch to reraise the fortifications, only to have his arm pinned by a single hydralisk spine. Zoom in to the hydralisk. Two marines open fire. As the hydralisk is killed by the bullets, dozens more swarm in. Fade to black, screams in background.
End trailer.
