mouse cursor after playing sc2beta

Clamev Germany498 Posts May 08 2010 14:35 GMT #1 Does anyone else have this problem? Whenever i quit sc2beta i have to close it with taskmanager (wich is nothing new) But then my mousursor is like fucked.It´s just a big fat pile of Black and white pixels does anyone else have that?

Genesis Brood United States193 Posts May 08 2010 14:46 GMT #3 my cursor does mess up sometimes but usually when I alt-tab. it's not all the time and it goes away when I restart my comp. Take a screenshot of your cursor and post it.

uriel- Singapore1867 Posts May 08 2010 15:19 GMT #4 My sc2 beta crashes on quitting too, and I need task manager as well. Might be a patch 11 issue Haven't had the cursor problem for sc2, but oddly enough it sometimes happens after i quit BW. It becomes a line of dots that's almost impossible to see, but otherwise works fine as a cursor does. I'll be interested to know a fix because the only thing I can do now is to reboot >_>

tarpman Canada722 Posts May 08 2010 15:25 GMT #5 I've had that with BW but not SC2. Sometimes logging out and logging in again fixes it, sometimes it takes a reboot. I haven't found any other fix yet. I thought that it might have something to do with switching colour depths when I switch between BW and the desktop, so make sure your SC2 is configured to run at the same colour bit as your desktop (likely 32bits).

Trumpet United States1935 Posts May 08 2010 17:34 GMT #13 Mine crashes when I exit unless I logout first then exit. Windows 7 OS. Maybe that'll stop the crash at least, no idea about the cursor though.

Clamev Germany498 Posts May 08 2010 17:57 GMT #14 I can´t really post a pic of it but it really looks like a mess and my grapphic card is the Radeon HD 5770 (had to get this one because my Nvidia gtx 275 stopped working after 1week)
