The main reason why I want a beta key is so that I can contribute more to this community. I've been playing Starcraft: Brood War off and on since the beginning. I have always been fascinated with the game, but I was too busy to really get good at it when it first came out. I've been getting back into Starcraft lately, catching up on everything that I have missed and getting better, but I feel that I don't have a lot to contribute since I'm still learning the old stuff. If I had a beta key I would be able to practise builds from Starcraft 2 and share new information with the community. I also think that I will be able to make some pretty cool custom maps once I get my hands on the map editor. I think that I would be able to offer a lot more to the community with a beta key, but if I don't receive one it's all good. I'm not going anywhere and I'll just contribute in any way I can, even if I can't share my gosu builds with everybody (kidding about the builds, but I think I could figure some useful stuff out).

Thanks for the opportunity to get a key! I have been trying to get one and have been unsuccessful. The pre-order key is unfortunately not an option for me right now either.

Now SC2 beta is here... everyone is talking about strategies, what race is imba, what unit is imba, but here I am sitting in my room by myself playing Iccup against the vast amounts of Korean gosus that rape me daily. I cry myself to sleep every night I check battle.net and my email and see that I still don't have a beta key.

Every time I fail to get a beta key... I want to cry internally. It's not fun seeing everyone else talk about SC2 strats, replays, etc when I'm stuck playing Brood War for years by myself.

PS: Protoss players die in a car fire.

hi i need the beta key because i am a huge starcraft fan, plus me and my little brother enjoys building maps on the world editor in wc3, and i heard that this galaxy editor here is just great you can do anything u want, and i intend to.. i build some cool maps in wc3 editor such as raccoon soccer, few maps of ninja type, bleach fighting map and much more.
i want to make a 'super smash brothers' kind of map and the sooner the better, the only problem is that i dont have a beta key

Because I wanna get my butt-whooped by Koreans on the Asian servers. I'm a sado-masochist that way.

I'm actually not bad, I think I can make platinum or at the very least gold (though I'd have no idea until I actually try the game out). I have a very good understanding of the game but my APM's pretty balls so I can discuss strategy with you if you'd like. ALL I NEED IS A KEY. Also, you're hot.

I just got my beta key and I was really thrilled to play sc2, but my best friend doesn't have one still, ya i know kinda sad now since almost everyone has one.

First of all thanks to TL for all the great SC stuff, awesome community, intelligent discussion and providing me with the Day[9].tv daily, TY!

. His pro commentaries makes watching the game 10x more enjoyable and you get to learn a lot as well. For someone like me practicing sc1 in ICCUP to get ready for SC2 this is the place to go.

This game has alot of potential even if there are somethings that IMO could use some improvement, overall it is great plus there are 2 more expansions on the way so there is still a chance to live up to SCBW.

I've also been watching a lot of custom maps since the galaxy editor was made available so I'm also very excited for the UMS potential of SC2. I watch this and it just makes me drool.

I'm hoping to give mapmaking a shot and hopefully it could also come with this key if I'm lucky.

I want one because the girl I like rejected me and ended up with this other guy who already had 10 other girls chasing him. Now I just spend my days at home lonely and bored while they're having sex each night. A beta key will help me get my mind off the jealousy.

i've been checking battlenet and tl like crazy for any keys.
ive been wanting to play this for so long.
although im not the greatest starcraft player there is
but my school has a small starcraft community and i feel like im the leader of this
however no one rly has a key
we've been trying to get one for so long
a beta key will help keep our community strong

I would like a beta key even though i havn't played the previous starcraft, this game cought my attention, it looks so epic, and is a lot different from the normal rts games you see around like C&C. One of my norwegian friends is always telling me how cool the game is, and i've asked him a few times if I could borrow his account to check out the game, he won't let me try it, I understand him, but god, i wan't to play this game so bad it's unbelievable. I've been looking around a few different forums to try and get a key, either i've been unlucky with the timing of my log in or i've had to guess a number between 1-1000, i've been through a lot lately and it would make the days just a little better with a game i enjoy.

I got nothing more to say other than i hope you pick me, if not I hope the one that gets the key is happy.
