I saw an article about a Croatian girl that went into a coma and awoke from it speaking fluent German. She had only just began studying it and was not close to fluent before this.
   Article
There are like a million possible explanations but it encouraged me to actually try sleeping with the french news on going as i sleep to encourage french dreams. I know that external stimulus affects dreams to at least some degree sometimes (listening to boards of canada trying to sleep and being underwater in the dream).
  Am I an idiot??

Yes, your sleep won't be as efficient as it should.

Oh dang. Do you know the explanation for that off hand? I was googling pretty hard to no avail.

				lol
Fully aware of how retarded it was, I once listened to an audio Japanese lesson while I slept. I suppose I would need to run more trials to really see how much I absorbed, but it really does interfere with sleep if it's audible and clear. I would have been a wreck by the 4th day.

"There are references to cases where people who have been seriously ill and perhaps in a coma have woken up being able to speak other languages – sometimes even the Biblical languages such as that spoken in old Babylon or Egypt – at the moment though any speculation would remain just that – speculation – so it's better to continue tests until we actually know something."
That's pretty insane if that's true. There would be some interesting implications as well. I doubt people in comas have much exposure biblical languages that they could subconsciously internalize so would the knowledge already have to be in them? I don't really see how thats possible... I'm confused now.

Probably woke up speaking gibberish and some smartass thought that it sounded like an Egyptian word or ancient Babylonian (lol). I'm sure a baby can babble some shit in 5 different languages from around the world since words are just noises.
