Better be safe and go play in traffic OP: Maybe sc2 is just causing you to spam more. There is absolutely no need for more then like 100 apm in sc2 because there simply isnt very much to do, alos, since people now use less control groups (1-3 compared to 3-5+ in bw) this cuts down the apm pretty hard. Anyone who has above like 150 apm in sc2 is seriously spamming their little hearts out Faced with this reality, I honestly do not see any way that anyone can possibly defend SC2 as a potentially competitive Esport. I mean come on guys, 100 APM? Let's be real here. And don't give me this "it's just beta" crap. Is it honestly even remotely possible that patching and metagame evolutions will bring about a game that is even mechanically close to BW? Oh, wait, let me answer that for you...NOPE!

Is it honestly even remotely possible that patching and metagame evolutions will bring about a game that is even mechanically close to BW? Oh, wait, let me answer that for you...NOPE! Its POSSIBLE, definitely, to rule it out as impossible is pretty dumb. There may be yet undiscovered apm-sinks that differentiate the good players from the bad, maybe in the future the GOOD players will use hotkeys 1-0 to take micro to new heights, because if BW's greatest apm-sink really was macro, it would not be as demanding a game as it is. Lets face it, almost anyone can macro well if they put their mind to it. Its a combination of macroing and doing other shit to optimize your play that brings out the true skill requirements in sc, and as of yet, there is nothing like that in sc2 (nothing that requires a huge amount of multitasking) keep in mind though, that a lot of that the current bw greats spend their apm on were not well known when bw first started off. I say, give sc2 a chance to grow, if it turns out to not evolve and just stagnate, so that everyone could become 'good' or close to the best without a huge amount of work, then sure, it will fail. But if that happens, we still have BW. When wc3 came out, a ton of players proclaimed the death of competitive bw. Many switched over. But yet here we are. IF sc2 fails, we will always have bw to fall back on IF it doesnt, we have another awesome game to play WIN/WIN to me either way
