Upon recent reflection I have realized that I have met the majority of the goals that I set out to accomplish when I began casting. For awhile now I have lacked the motivation to continue casting. I haven't posted a commentary in nearly a month.
I have with a heavy heart decided to retire from competitive SC2 casting. The field is just too saturated and fast paced. I don't have the spare time to keep up.
SC2 commentating is now a younger mans game. I expect some 14 year old wonder kid to be casting the WCG US finals this year.
Instead of belaboring the fact, I think it is best to exit while I am still somewhat near the top. Instead I will dedicate my time towards pursuing a professional career playing League of Legends or perhaps Mount and Blade: Warband

A shame, Klazart retired, now you. But I do agree, it's best to stop when you are still somewhat at your peak.

We'll miss you! Diggity you are the reason i started playing SC seriously and the reason why i got back into it. You have been an awesome commentator and it was nice while it lasted. I hope you have an awesome progaming career.

Diggity, I kind of wish you waited till tommorow to post this. Posting it on April 1st just makes someone wonder if you are joking or not.
But assuming it isn't, I am greatly saddened by your decision. You are one of the main reasons why I got interesting in StarCraft and it's professional gaming scene in the first place and I still consider you one of the best commentators around (people will always say you are far from perfect...but then again, who is?). Still, if that is the way how you feel, then it is probably for the best that you do indeed retire from casting. I hope you will still do an ocassional cast, though, just like Klazart.

diggity thanks for all that you've done for the sc scene. seriously, if it wasn't for your coherent, non-nerdy sounding voice, I wouldn't be here right now; nor would i have developed this addiction to watching starcraft

Thanks for everything Diggity, you were one of the first commentators I've ever listened to and definitely one of the greatest. G L with everything and hopefully you will do a few celebrity casts with some of the other commentators down the line.
