Animated kinda like a graphic novel and feels like a mix between the old shows Mission Hill and The Head. Comedy about a 'bleeding heart' liberal social worker guy in New York where demons/zombies/all sorts of supernatural creatures roam and work in modern society. A comedy that focuses around work and finding love around all these messed up things. I think it'll turn out to be pretty good, recommend people check it out.

Oh and watch Spartacus if you don't, so awesome.

I'll definitely check it out, I like comic-ish frank miller style stuff. Hell no to Spartacus though, after watching those types of shows I realized that they are just a waste in the end.

I saw the first episode. It seemed kind of good, but seemed like it could get kind of stale pretty soon. Character development probably won't have many surprises.

Dexter's not bad, and weeds has some good episodes too.

I watched the first episode of Ugly Americans, and I just don't see it appealing to many viewers. It had some clever moments, but ultimately it was a forgettable show. It seems like the type of show where the underlying premise (How will these neurotic monsters deal with human problems??) is going to get really tired, very quickly. So unless the writing gets really funny in the next episode or two, I'm out.

The first episode of Archer was pretty funny, though.

I just can't stand the show. It is so unbelievable that I can't even watch it. The sets are awful, the acting is mostly bad. The plot isn't terrible, but the filler writing is fucking awful. I just hate it. Its basically like a really bad 300. 300 was already mostly bad.

Other things that annoy me in no particular order:
- Helmet cams
- The courtyard set
-"Cock" is mentioned every 3rd sentence.
- Viva Bianca (Ilythia) is the worst actor I have ever seen. Manu Bennett (Crixus) is the second worst.
- All the male leads have modern haricuts that are simply impossible to achieve without an electric razor. I'm pretty sure electric razors were not around in 100BC.

Why is it surprising that bad sets, sub-par acting, no attention to detail and horrible battle scenes (watered down 300) result in a badly rated and unpopular show?

Edit: Also, caught the rerun of ugly americans. It was better than I thought, but I basically mirror BroOd's exact thoughts.

Edit: Hmm, just watched a trailer for it and it looked like trash. I thought it was gonna be more dark and less like an animated version of a regular sit-com. Too much pure comedy. Oh, and it would probably be way better as a graphic novel than animated. Something about the animation just makes it look quite ridiculous

bumping the thread, When i first saw the previews i didnt think much.. but i just catched the latest episode of S2 and i'm quite pissed for not watching the first season.. Deff recommend.
Is there any way to watch previous episodes? i know theres hulu but... u have to pay to watch the series and I can't do netflix atm....wait this is in blogs... rly?
