so the past summer i worked up at santa barbara, CA painting houses and worked up enough to get one of these:
An SW99 is a smith and wesson licensed version of the Walther P99. The only problem that i have with it are the sights, which have a sizable space between them. That leaves a lot of room for a miss when lining them up. Other than that its a decent handgun and some aftermarket sights will fix the problem.
A couple weeks ago I saw that Lock N Load with R. Lee Ermey and he was going up against a Lee Enfield rifle with his 1903 Springfield. I liked fast the enfield operated and figured it would be nice to shoot something different than the mauser that i have so i looked up gunshows in California. Turns out that there was one in Santa Barbara. Friend of mine went to pick one up and got a deal for one at $575. Deal included: the No. 4 Mk1 Lee Enfield, extra magazine, scope mount, extra stock, and 100 rounds of .303 british.
These aren't pictures of mine but some that i found. once i pick mine up in a couple of weeks i'll post pics on here.

Awesome stuff, too bad you couldnt get the original scope. I really want to get myself a SMLE or a Springfield but its not allowed here and I dont have a license.
I assume your referring to the 98k? I wouldnt mind test firing that in a range. SMLE would be my favorite though(Bolt-Action rifles in general), you find any Garands there?

If I lived in a place more hospitable to firearm owning I'd probably get some stuff. My dad is pretty avid and has a pistol license.
I want a Bull-Bup 30-06 or equivalent with a 16 inch barrel. Practically a sawn-off shotgun but legal <3

yeah but my mauser is a Spanish chambered in 7.62x51mm. I got it for 200 and an original K98k just was too much for me. Yes i did find a couple of garands, one being a full length and the other being the tanker version. Once again out of my price range

Most likely legit rounds, not blanks. And you never seen a real firearm? Should see the cops walking around with one Or come to NYC, some train stations have heavily armed guards sometimes. :D

get a 30-30. I use this when i go hunting 10-pointers on my 132 acres.

Oh that is only if u hunt.......I don't know why people buy rifles if they don't hunt. I don't see no enjoyment in target practice if ur not hunting...LET ME SEE UR SKILLZ!

Guns I have fired army time.
Basic gun (some use older version but I used new one RK95
Machinegun, heavy to carry around but simple to fire though.

I own an HK-SL8. It's great, semi-automatic, 15 round clip, recoil isn't horrible, and also it can be disassembled easily.

click it to blow it up!
Here is a pic of my land about 1/4 mile from the main road....u can see the cow in the left hand corner!
Here's a pic of some bucks feet the last time we were there. Were thinking of letting people hunt on the land for $500 a rifle, i go hunting like once every 2 years and we know there's bigger bucks(like this one) but nobody visits the land much. I won't even post the pos doe that i shot down.
oh btw the date was messed up on the camera. It's actually from this passed december 2009.

Majority of civilian guns semi-auto, dont worry. Unless you live in the Midwest or something where you could fire your cheap AK full throttle.

My dad's gone target shooting 1-2 times a week for decades and still loves it... personally I hate the idea of hunting but love target shooting (comparatively speaking at least).

no sorry bullets are meant to kill something, not to be confused with a wall. My heart goes out to the dead.
Edit: Your dad will be the guy that will miss the guy invading his house during a burglary imo.

You are doing a good job of giving fuel to gun control lobbyists.

Maybe my dad isn't doing it in order to defend himself from burglers? Also, what evidence do you have that hunters fair better than target shooters? I'd put my money on my dad from a skill perspective.

Well let ur dad keep shooting at a still object. Till then I'll keep shooting 8-12 pointers every 2 years.

They made this neat invention called a moving target.... a lot of ranges possess them.
I personally own an AR-15...basically the civilian version of the m-16 assault rifle. I'd rather use a handgun or shotgun in CQC anyway because if you miss with a rifle that's 3800 yards of straight line travel it has to hit something or someone that you didn't mean to.

Yes, exactly, shotguns are FAR superior for defense in your home lol
edit: but ar-15's are for plinking ;3

there's rarely any moving target practice, unless he's playing some paintball imo. I was raised hunting so being able to shoot down a live target was my practice. What does ur father do, go to a shooting range? I am only assuming.

On a few occasions we went to private property and shot at other stuff but those were exceptions.
