i think almost everyone gets some sort of twitch, usually something like the eyelid what do you mean by getting worse? are they lasting longer, occuring more frequently, becoming painful?

![]() just make sure you are sleeping well, eating well and exercising well and give it a month. if you are worried about it after the month, you can go to the doc's and get it checked but i dont think there's anything to be worried about

Pretty sure that's what Flash has. Remember Tasteless making a joke about his spasms on GOM, then SDM came and went "He really does have Tourettes". I had similar spasms when I went to the doctor as a kid, and they told me the tic disorder is a variation of Tourettes. Looking at the Wiki page, it's more that Tourettes is a tic disorder, in an audible sense, whereas both Flash and I have body jerks/movements.

Flash definately has tics, tourettes or not I dunno. Difference between tics and spasms is that tics are something you do consciously alot of the time but cannot stop doing because there is a incredibly strong urge to tense a certain muscle or do a sound. You can hold it back for a while like when playing SC (I can and apparently Flash does it too) or doing anything else that requires mental quickness and concentration, but after a while that pent up energy needs to find an release and you tic alot. There are surgeons that have tourettes and function just fine while working. Spasms, like the eyelid thing is involuntary and just happens, mainly because you're low on magnesium due to for example high intake of caffeine (which drives out magnesium out of the body). Many teenage boys have transient tics too, as many as 15-20% but they vanish after weeks or months. Oh and yeah manitou, magnesium/taurine helps with tics and minor seizures in general

Also caffeine draws magnesium from your body, so it's really not a good option to make your daily intake higher. Raw coffee has a large amount of magnesium, but who eats 100 grams of coffee each day? Good choices are nuts, quinoa, oatmeat and vegetables etc.
