Also, some podcast suggestions from iTunes: Trance Around The World - Episodes 301, 300, 290, and 282. 290 is probably the best set i've heard in a LONG time. A State of Trance 400 (go to Trancefix.nl for downloads) Above and Beyonds Mix Ferry Corstens Mix Markus Schulz's mix Gareth Emery, night 1 Super8 & Tab, night 1 Marcus Schossow's mix Daniel Kandi, night 2. uhh now i've really exhausted what's on top of my head...i'll grab my ipod next :D | ||

I was saying more... let's see, that music that sucks you in slowly and then attacks you with large amounts of bass/sound, usually utilizing that "dramatic pause" effect where everyone gets pumped! Both of those compilations will expose you to a bunch of great artists and different styles. I can't remember the last time my cd player didn't have an Anjuna CD in it! Also, download the entire Trance Around the World 301 set. Its their live set from Moscow for the TATW 300 celebration. Its 6 mixes- 9 hours (A&B, Super8&Tab, Proff, Mat Zo, Kyau & Albert, Daniel Kandi). I'm really enjoying 301 right now because you can hear the audience which helps set a fun atmosphere for listening. I went to an Above & Beyond show in Chicago last november. This was THE highlight of the night for me. If you are looking in the direction of the song I would advise on other songs of the Bloody Beetroots, Boys Noize, Crookers, Proxy, Fake Blood, Sound of Stereo, Laidback Luke... If it really is trance you are looking for, then the best dj's have been mentioned I think. Just didnt notice Sander Van Doorn anywhere, he makes some awesome mixes as well. You should look up his mix from ASOT 400, that one was awesome in my opinion! For the radioshows and newer songs I would suggest www.cubetrance.com, its pretty new I think but really great to keep up with the newest songs. | ||
