So yesterday on ICCUP i continued a long stint of losing to D+ players that seemed a whole lot better than the D+ players i was beating before. I went on like a 7 or 8 game losing streak after reaching 2930 points (of course this would happen to me). So after losing so many straight games I finally start to win again beating some Zerg who tried to 2 hatch speedling all-in vs me. Afterwards I play a Terran on Fighting Spirit and I think I played a whole lot better than I usually do (or maybe he just sorta sucked). I was completely winning the game, with a 1/1 hydralurk defiler army killing all his buildings (he had no army left, just a few science vessels and whatever could come out of the burning buildings). He only had his mined out main and a secret expo in his 3rd (I only saw this in the replay, but as I was playing I knew he probably had an expo somewhere).
At around this point I know GG is inevitable but then suddenly the disconnect screen pops up, and he gets disconnected. I am 100% sure it was a purposeful disconnect (the whole game wasn't laggy at all and it's way too convenient), I HAD THAT GAME. I was super pissed because it was my 1st good win in a while. I submitted the replay to ICCUP admins for review claiming that he disconnected. I got a reply saying I will not get points for it becuase he still had a hidden expo and 3k in the bank. thats fucking retarded.

Lol, I don't know but it seems to me that ICCup Admins can't make great decisions.
What use is 3k and a secret expo when all your production builds are gone and you have no army. -_-

At the point where he disconnects it doesn't really matter if he has 4k/1k since you had 7 lurkers burrowed right at his barracks. I'm surprised admins didn't give you the game ;o

I saw an argument in the admins channel once between Tesla and 3 or so other admins. A zerg went 9 pool speeds and massed pure zerglings. He tried a 20 ling runthrough ZvP and got 4 lings in because the P scouted it and walled and cannoned. Z realising he had 1 base and 9 drones vs 2 base protoss with 20 probes disced. Tesla gave Z the win because "Z had units in the P base and P's first zealot had only just started". The P player contacted an admin friend who showed it to other admins (and me) and was arguing with Tesla about it in the channel. Eventually threatened to demote them all unless they dropped it. So not all icc admins are retarded. But Tesla doesn't know the first thing about bw.

I have had many times where the server disconnects and i end up winning the game. I have no idea why they don't give you points though.

uhh this happened twice last two days. and then i'd /whois the player who i just played and he'd still be in the game. i think it's just some sort of iccup bug where the system doesnt recognize that a player has left, after an, hour in each case, i got my point automatically.
edit: and yeah in both cases i was owning them real hard at the point of drop, so i suspected them to drophack or w/e it's called... but i think they just simply left the game without gg

As a previous ICCup Admin I would say that, losing all you main and only having 1 expo regardless of minerals stored constitutes as a disconnect victory for you. (PS I was ICCup.Noise)
