*UPDATE*: Someone bought it already. Oh well.
I was browsing craigslist today and I found someone selling a 4870x2 for $150. Messaged him, asking if he mistyped but said it was 4870x2, as listed. I also asked him the manufacturer and he said it was an AMD ATI Radeon 4870x2, and sent me two pictures to go along with it.

Additionally, he said that the card was in used but working condition.
I was wondering what input you guys might have before I make my decision. I don't want to let a great deal slip by, but I don't want to get $150 scammed of me either.

Well it's only $150 - if the cards don't work/you don't ever actually receive them then it's not too big of a deal if you have a job. And if you do get them and they work, which they likely will, you just scored an awesome deal.

i buy used computer parts all the time off ebay and i have never really had problems, with a few exceptions. however i have had problems with new parts as well (doa ram... sigh)

Ask to see it running. It's not a totally unreasonable price, they typically sell right around $200 online. Priced high enough that they probably just want a quick sale IMO.
Just make sure you see it running before you pay.

When something sounds too good to be true, it often is. I'd recommend buying new, from a company offering lifetime warranties.
There is always the chance hes just desperate for quick cash or stole it. If your going to gamble at least make sure you see it running, and being stressed in a game. I'd also take a look at his system while your at it, these cards make a lot of heat if his case doesn't look like it can handle evacuating that heat, I wouldn't buy it. You don't want to buy a card that's been run at 100c for the last year.

It's the same reason why you don't buy stolen goods.
Because that shit will work today, tomorrow, maybe 2 weeks from now but when it breaks. You are fucked because you can't claim warranty.
I will only buy used that card if he give you the invoice and you can verify that it actually have warranty. He should be able to if it was a personal sell.
