I have this school project for my software engineering class and we have to create a website to store all our information and post each version of our project and etc. Someone in the lecture mentioned using google code to make the site because it is really easy, and in a lot of the examples from previous classes a lot of groups used it as well.

I know java coding fairly well but I know nothing about google code. I only need to make a really basic website with a few links and some text, nothing fancy at all. Is there anyone I could PM to maybe ask some basic questions or does anyone have any good resources for learning how to use google code? Anything that could help would be great

Code.google.com is point and click. It is like facebook for code. Other valid options would be github or sourceforge. I hope you know a bit about version control.
