when should i increase weight?

how do i jolt muscles? so that they don't get used to the routine?

What are your goals?

Gaining weight?
Becoming a better athlete?
Losing weight?
Getting stronger?
Getting ripped?

They all have different training approaches and different diet plans.

1. When the lift becomes easy. It's a feel thing.. no set time or anything. Some website will give you a safe arbitrary reference but in general you should know.

2. Shouldn't work the same muscle groups 2 days in a row. Stick to pillar lifts like bench, squat and clean but shake up the peripheral lifts to keep the muscle development static and continuous.

Is there a workout that makes me more attractive to asian girls without having to gain more than 10 pounds? I'm like 138. (kinda short...)

This is good advice. Also incorporate deadlifts into your routine and alternate between deadlifts and squats because it can be quite heavy to do both on the same day.

For heavier exercises try going up around 10 lbs when you feel that you can lift more.

Hahahahaha. To address the question especially when you're starting you should probably just lift each body part once per week. To vary your routine throw in drop sets and super sets and be sure to use different exercises frequently for the same body part.

e: running/swimming/intensive aerobics training instead of weightlifting

I know asian girls who dislike 6/8pacs because it reminds them of ninja turtles, lulz

@ OP -

1 - It depends on what you're trying to do. But, if you build a routine, and by the end of your sets, you feel like you could do more, do more, and then up the weight a bit next time.

2 - To jolt your muscles, do a variety of different exercises. Also, don't shy from exercises that work multiple groups of muscles. I'm a fan of the bus driver clean, and power snatches for working most of the body.
