so my friend is getting married in 2 days and I was thinking about slipping this in the card
I dunno the girl that well though, she's a history major and wants to be a teacher. So she might be a feminazi or something. My friends all think its funny and i'm sure jake (in the pic) will laugh. ps-Just for reference they met at work and she was leaving off the temp job and he asked her out on his last chance. After a month they were engaged, I dunno much details because this guy has been mia ever since. I've seen him literally once and met her once after a year, she seemed cool.
Too IRL trollish?
Poll: SRS POLL (Vote): 4 teh lulz (Vote): innapropriate.
Also, the card is kind of 'cute' card. Has a picture of little girl and boy playing 1800s dress up or something. and then inside it says like "just because you are married, doesn't mean you have to grow up!"

If you don't know both of them very well, I think it's inappropriate.
...which is such a waste, though, 'cause that picture is perfect for the caption, lol.

He's smiling too, and I don't think it'll set a very good starting point for you being her husbands friend.
|
Bonus : Too brash version which I toned down
|
k well maybe I just email it to him
|
if that was them in the picture than MAYBE it would be okay, but probably not. If that's not them in the picture than it's not even close or funny
|
wait what blackjack? yes that is them in the pic

Don't think its offensive at all, it's meant to be a joke so there's is no valid reason for her to make a scene or flip out.

I just dunno if she will have a sense of humor (or just one on that day of 'every girl's dream day' )

You can't just make whatever joke you want to whomever you want, though. If he knew this girl well, it would be funny. He doesn't, so it's not appropriate.
|
Hahaha I wouldn't but I'd want to as bad as you do.
|
yea, this is risky joke. I think it comes down to the risk outweighing the gain here.
|
Eh... I wouldn't do it... but if they both have a good sense of humour you could go for it. Nothing spices up a wedding like some jokes about feminism
|
Give it to just your male friend. It's definitely not worth to show both of them.
