Thanks for sharing! I've been looking for something chilled to listen to lately, this works nicely.
Reminds me of Massive Attack with a little Cinematic Orchestra thrown in.
Also some amusing nostalgia as there's a specific sound in From Sun's Angle that I swear my first ever electronic keyboard had on it. Some weird little drum thing that I can't remember the name of.

pretty cool music. i wouldn't go as far as saying it's the best thing i've ever heard but i've been looking for music exactly like this so thanks a bunch for sharing

i never realized they had so many albums already. any ideas on which album i should start on??

edit: just downloaded their album late night cinema and i'm loving it so far ^_^

just stumbled upon this thread when I was looking for your sc2 commentary thread. Everything mentioned in here is pretty good stuff.

This is pretty similar and awesome:
(remember to HD that shit)

and if you live under a rock and dunno who RJD2 is yet, i'm sure you've still heard the wells fargo commercials where this song is (still) used.

And then there is Clutchy Hopkins, this stuff is a bit more lax and chill out jazzy style. But it's all very consistent:

I hope you don't mind my thumbing down your new favorites, Day. Didn't really like it. There is no solid idea into those songs, it is just stuff put there randomly.

I'm a chillout fan too but I find it a sterile scene actually. Like if you go beyond stuff that they put on Buddha Bars there is just white noise. Everyone seems to have hit the jackpot with just one song and that's it! Almost no guys are consistently good. You really have to find the little treasures hidden in the heap of mediocrity. At least that's how i feel about it.
