No there were four yes/no questions worth 2 points each and they got 3 of them right by putting yes for all of them.

Yep it's a UofM test. I just blacked it out in the image in case this ends up elsewhere on the internetz to give the student maximum privacy.

I remember one of my professors always write about 20 lines of instructions - and to make sure everyone reads his instructions, one line out of 20 lines is always something along the liens of "To get full grades for Question 3, you must leave it BLANK.".

I had a pop quiz in an ethics class that was like what you are saying, but it said to read all of the questions before starting, and the last question said to turn in the paper with just your name for full points.
