So because I'm a bandwagoner I'm just gonna make my team a blog too :D. Hello, and welcome to Team 8 for the Coach-Pupil League! I am your faithful coach Pokebunny, and along with SpriteLove you young pokemon will be trained to level 100 by the time this is over. My real name is Nick, I'm 14, I'm in 9th grade in New York City. I've been around StarCraft since I was around 4 years old - my dad played near release and I used to watch him play campaign when I was younger. I was introduced to the competitive scene probably around ~April 2008, and joined TL in June of that year. I've been playing ICCup since around then, mass gaming the last few seasons and reaching a high rank of C+. Currently I'm around 5000 points, was trying to go for B- season but my internet connection has been going out during games a lot lately (it lets me stay in the game, but admins refuse to give me points) or else I would be around 5700 just from discs this week. if you could post here, that'd be easier. Everyone should sign up at our nice new forums on http://chobos.net/phpBB3 , Ziph will set permissions for you when he gets to it.We also need a team name. Any suggestions would be appreciated, currently I'm thinking about a pokemon-related name (PS my ID isn't a reference to Pokemon. It's the english verb to poke + the english noun bunny. -_-) just because SpriteLove's first comment when he saw this league was "this is gonna be like pokemon but w/ sc players" which I think is so true and hilarious. I'm totally open to other suggestions too, so post em up!
Our primary communication will probably be email, but if I can get Ziph to set me up a private forum I might use that instead. This will be used as a form of contacting everyone. AIM/MSN will only be used if I need someone in particular or I need instant contact.
In conclusion, whoever's still around for this league on my team, post in this blog (and PM me for infoz you want private)! This is gonna be a great event, and as long as you stay active, I promise to teach you as much as possible and I hope we have a ton of fun, whether we win or lose. Team 8 Fighting~!
