I would still give it a chance. Plus it's like the perfect situation for you, you're coming down for a vacation from school. If it turns out she really is just an annoying obsessive girl, you're going back to your university in a few weeks anyways.
I know this next comment might backfire here on TL, but going out iceskating with a girl who is clearly into you seems alot more fun than sitting in your parent's house playing SC in your old room.
