I don't think that's particularly widespread. There is also a lot of variety between North and South.
i think 'book it' is east coast.. or at least i didnt know of the term until i moved to ny. i know there were others that were new to me i just dont remember..
oh and isnt it a texas thing to say 'fixing to...'
