One of the great traditions here at teamliquid is that of contributing something significant for one's milestone posts. We've seen in depth analysis, interesting one-off tournaments, teamliquid projects and much more. I feel it’s a small but important part of what makes this site such a great resource with such an amazing community.
The 1000 post mark for me seems fairly major. I don't post all that often, but i've been a member since 2007 and a lurker looking for a starcraft fix for a lot longer.
I posted on my blog around this time last year. For the most part, people seemed to enjoy my editorials. So I’m thinking of reviving that practice in a far more considered, formally written, researched and hopefully interactive manner.
My plan is a series of blog posts touching on a variety of topics chosen by you guys. This'll culminate in a starcraft related post that'll hopefully somewhat channel the awesomeness of a final edit.
If you guys are into it, i'm willing to put a fair bit of time and effort into this, with loads of academic rigor, research and referencing. If you’re interested, leave a post suggesting a topic (possible topics include beer, politics, religion, the ultra deep field, final fantasy or anything you're interested in). Use your imagination.
Not sure about the response I’ll get for this... but I feel this could end up being very enjoyable and I may end up just doing something random to kick things off.

Whatever you do for 1k, mine has to be 10x better, so don't set the bar too high.

I'd like to see something about StarCraft in relation to the ways it makes you a better person, but only if you're actually going to research it. I don't really care about things that should help, like multitasking and time management, I want some sources that suggest it actually happens.
Otherwise... If it's not as academic as you're making it out to be, just do something fun. The saga of BackHo maybe

Hello, alethios here.
Hope the mods won't mind too much that i've put up this alternate account, just so I can reply here without quickly ruining my 1000 post project. This'll be deleted/buried as soon as i hit 1000.
Seems to be a consensus that I should just get on with something and surprise people. Just started something which I hope people will find interesting and thought provoking. Should be up by the end of the weekend.
Also, i've started looking into the two starcraft related questions. They'll both be incorporated into my 1000th post (which is promising to be a huge unwieldy post with ADD).
