Seriously, there needs to be a not safe for wives/girlfriends warning on this blog.

A cute kid like that? Every video ending with that "can I see!?"

Way to set every girl's biological clock off within 30 seconds! You of all people should know how hard these things are to combat D:<

I wasn't that friendly at the beginning of FuDDx's blog because I was reading the first comments that were posted about brainwashing and tried to articulate on that. I'm sorry yo.

To the previous haters, yes, there are some things in life in which humans have lost all of their senses on, and are acting purely on instinct. Some things are good whereas others are bad, but you definition of good and bad isn't absolute; something can be good to you but bad to someone else.

The only way you can determine something is legitimately right or wrong is by going back to the basics; FuDDx's baby is pledging allegiance to the U.S. flag, yes we can see, and what does this mean? This behavior encourages Leo to be a normal, civilized, respectful, obedient, and faithful kid in way way or another and honestly, I don't see anything bad in that. In the long run, all of this will be up to him, not his parents (though they can have a HUGE influence) or anyone else.

FuDDx, the main reason for the shitstorm in your blog is because the derailers saw it more like:

My son trying out the terrorist training

Nothing to crazy here, no balloon hats or ice carvings. And no fight reports just my son and his attempt at the AK. Enjoy.

LMAO! what the fuck is that song.. and oh man, those kids can shoot better than me!

I don't think I've ever wished my opponent good luck prior to a game. When I play, I play to win. I hope every opponent I ever have is cursed with fucking terrible luck. I hope they're stuck playing underneath a stepladder with a black cat in attendance a

no. you're still taking this out of context.

He's not pledging his allegiance to anything. He's repeating a phrase taught to him in school. It's fun, and cute, and he's learning to talk and be a kid. It's not USA propaganda, it's kindergarten.

This behaviour encourages participation, not normalcy, not civility, not respect nor obedience nor faith.

Happiness only real when shared.

Thx Mora couldn't have said it better. And he is in pre-school kindergarten is a few years away.

aaawwww how adorable. I wish I'll have a kid atleast half as cute some day.

If I have understood correctly that age is really good to learn him recite stuff that is hard to learn as an adult. So if you want him to learn all the nations in africa this is the time.
I might be totally wrong about this and by the time it might be useful the africans nations have changed names a few timest but still.

I <3 you so much FuDDx. Thanks so much for sharing the videos with us.

cute son or not, the thread would have been terribly boring without some sort of discussion regarding the pledge.

Two days is a pretty short time for the people who got banned imo.

In them I saw what I don't like in TL, I was surprised to see it.

not all of them, just the guy who derailed the thread into some nonsense about propaganda/brainwashing or whatever bullshit it was he said.
it was a nice video and it's probably awesome to see your child do stuff for the first time. it was a terrible reaction and not very well thought out

We all have our bad days. We all can easily misunderstand people in real life more so on the Internet. I am glad for this site and ALL the people in it ,well mostly. In my blogs I try to share what makes me happy and things that I do nothing more nothing less. Thanks for walking a bit on my path guys and gals. Hopefully we can all be less judgmental more tolerant and understanding, no one is the same and we all have individualized reasons why we are who we are its much more interesting to find out about them than attack them out of hand, more so when we do not understand them or their ways.

Haha I found this thread through browsing hte automated ban list section. Kept wondering what the quote meant under "reason." Got it now.

Honestly your kid is adorable. I was just playing with my kitten a little bit ago, who has oodles of energy and is probably the cutest thing I see on a daily basis (good thing my gf doesn't read TL haha). Not trying to compare a kid to a kitten, rather how cute young aged kids/animals are.

No, this is the time for him to learn certain enunciations, not memory. You know how you have an accent and most native speakers don't? You learn all the key enunciation stuff at that age. After they reach a certain age it's hard for them to differentiate certain sounds and thus they'd pronounce words inaccurately.

For example, my mom moved here at 23, now 51, speaks perfectly fluent English (can tell traces of an accent but not much of one), but she herself has a very hard time telling the difference in sound with the letter "a".

For example...

apple pronounced normally vs it pronounced "ay - pull". She honestly can barely differentiate the two, and it takes her a few times of hearing it pronounced both ways before she can tell it's even being pronounced different.
