Agreed on all counts. KPop just seems to be better at what it is supposed to do than others. In that sense, it is more "honest" as it doesn't feign artistic credibility. It does not pretend that it is more than what it really is: ear-candy, eye-candy into a polished commercial package. I've never had anything against this kind of "honest" pop. At the same time, I also hope your tastes are not limited to KPop. There is much real music to explore, especially in the classical tradition. | ||
